WHAT IS ITS?
ITS stands for the “International Thespian Society” — an honors society based off one of our favorite art forms… theatre!
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
The goal of ITS is to honor student achievement in the Theatre Arts by:
- Participating in Theatre Productions & Classes
- Volunteering for Theatre Related & Unrelated events
- HAVING FUN!!
The main method that we use to highlight our students achievement in Theatre is through our Point System!

INDUCTIONS & CHORDS
The Arts Induction and Chording Ceremony is an event that is held at the end of the year to celebrate new members being inducted into the society as well as to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of our graduates.
- NEW members have to obtain a minimum of 10 points to be inducted into ITS
- Seniors wishing to be chorded must obtain 60 points and pay a monetary fee
POINTS SYSTEM
ITS uses a Points System to highlight student achievement in the program. Points are based on the number of hours on an GHTC production/class. Check out our ITS LINKS tab for a comprehensive powerpoint that will guide you through submitting your points!
